Join us on the River Tamar

Canoe Tamar can arrange canoe trips on the river Tamar between Devon and Cornwall. The trips start from Cotehele, Morwellham and Calstock. You can learn how to manoeuvre a canoe in safety, travelling at your speed on a gently flowing river.

You'll be offered two regular journeys:

- Between Morwellham and Cotehele - you'll be on the water for around two hours and will take a short brake at Calstock.

- Between Morwellham and Weir Head - starts and finishes at Morwellham Quay. You'll paddle up river through sloping woods and water meadows. The peace of the upper river increases the chances of seeing rare wild life of the river. This journey will take about two hours.
