This South Hams beach has acres of golden sands at low tide, ideal for the family day out at the seaside. There are shallow waters for paddling, rock pools for exploring, perfect for sandcastles, windsurfing, canoeing and boogie boarding.

How to get there: From the A379 between Modbury and Aveton Gifford, turn on to the B3392 to Bigbury.
