The Monkey Sanctuary

Monkey Sanctuary in Cornwall

The Monkey Sanctuary is set in a beautiful area overlooking Looe Bay in south east Cornwall. It was the first place in the world where these monkeys bred successfully outside of their native habitat.

The main aim of the Sanctuary is to take care of the woolly monkey colony and the rescue and rehabilitation of ex-pet capuchin, macaque and patas monkeys.

A visit of the Sanctuary will give you a great day out and a possibility to see from close those friendly and lively animals.
