Exmouth

This traditional seaside resort is the oldest in Devon. It's a great place to go if you are looking for a great family holiday with safe, golden sands, watersport activities and a wide promenade lined with shops, restaurants and pubs.

Therea are two miles of flat, sandy beach with all manner of entertainment and water sports.

Behind the beach there are fine gardens and parks, some dating from the Victorian hayday, providing a natural paradise for bird watchers.

How to get there: Take the A376 from Exeter to Exmouth. There are regular bus and train services from the surrounding areas. From Exmouth town centre follow signs to the beach.
