Centre Stage, the local award winning youth drama group is proud to be presenting “Fiddler on the Roof”

BEING of Sound Mind is a thriller by Brian J Burton, directed by Jane Spamer being put on by the Exmouth Players at The Blackmore Theatre from March 15 - 20, curtain up 7.30pm. The play opens with Jane and Susan Pearson having rented their usual holiday cottage in France; Susan is particularly looking forward to this holiday as she is recovering from a nervous breakdown. Shortly after their arrival, the cottage’s owner turns up to check that everything is in order. She runs out of cigarettes and John leaves to buy her some. Thus begins Susan’s confusion and terror, starting with the appearance of a man who says he is John and culminating in her being taken to the mental wing of the local hospital. It transpires that Susan is about to inherit all her late father’s money, on condition that she is “of sound mind”. Is she the victim of an elaborate plot?

OSCAR Wilde’s murderously funny comedy Lord Arthur Savile’s Crime is being performed by the Salterton Drama Club at the Salterton Playhouse from Monday, March 1, to Saturday, March 6, at 7.30pm.

Rosemary Hawthorne, aka The Knicker Lady, makes a welcome return to Devon on Friday evening, February 26, when she appears at The Public Hall in Budleigh Salterton in her hilarious, amazing and eponymous one woman show.

The young scottish duo Helen McLeod and Emma Wilkins, will be performing under the name Hoot, in Lympstone Parish Church, next month.
