Well, if you thought the idea of pigs taking to the air was a rarity, how about a flying Dodo? For the first time in history a Dodo will be launched into the air in Southernhay, Exeter on Friday 26 May, proudly signaling the start of Devon Wildlife Trust’s Wildlife Festival.

The Exmouth Festival 2006 will be taking place over the May 26th-29th bank holiday weekend, featuring all the favourites including Crazy Umbrellas, Strawberry Jam and a Battle of the Bands competition, as well as a whole host of unique and inviting events.

The Devon County Show is the largest event in the county calendar and is the perfect place to enjoy a virtual tour of rural life. The Show is a giant shop window for rural Devon and links consumers with farmers, food producers and others working in the countryside economy. This years show takes place between May 18th and May 20th at Westpoint Arena in Exeter.
