Exmouth Festival triumph

This year’s Exmouth Festival was so good that even the teddy bears packed their picnics and came along.

The bank holiday weekend might not have brought the sizzling weather we hoped for, but it certainly didn’t dampen the spirits of this year’s festival goers.

Highlights have included the sand sculpting competition, the teddy bears’ picnic and the colourful umbrella parade.

The schools’ showcase wowed audiences with the best of music from primary schools and Exmouth Community College

The annual art competition, sponsored by Exmouth Gallery, on Exeter Road, was another popular event. It attracted 48 children keen to show off their artistic talents.
