Colyton Carnival Week

The 2nd of September sees the beginning of the annual Colyton Carnival. Colyton will play host to a whole week of events, such as raffles, fayres, treasure hunts, bingo and markets. A full list of activities and times can be found on their website here.

The week finished on the 9th of September, at 8pm, when the Colyton Illuminated Precession takes over the streets with dozens of beautiful floats. The Grand Carnival Procession is followed only by a Carnival Songs Of Praise on the Sunday at 2.30pm. It’s definitely not aweek to be missed, with the Procession on Saturday putting the perfect finish on a week full of fun activities and local events.
