Talented musicians on tour in North Devon

PAUL Sartin and Paul Hutchinson, who formed Belshazzar’s Feast in the autumn of 1995 are on tour in North Devon, courtesy of Beaford Arts.
Their eclectic tastes and influences combined with high standards of musicianship are brought to bear on material ranging from dance tunes by Playford from the 18th century to Scandanavian waltzes, Music Hall songs to their own compositions.
Sartin (oboe, violin and vocals) and Hutchinson (accordion) have performed on radio and television, at concert venues, clubs, festivals and village halls both in the UK and abroad.
They delight audiences with their witty banter as well as musical mastery.
Paul Sartin is a chorister in the Cathedral Choir of Christ Church. Oxford and also appears in the line-up of Dr Faustus & Bellowhead. Paul Hutchinson also appears in Hoover the Dog
Beaford Arts is delighted to invite them back for this short North Devon tour.
The pair play at St Brannock’s Church, Braunton, on Friday, February 9 at 7.30pm (01271 814082 for tickets);
Rose Ash Village Hall, Saturday, February 10 at 7.30 (01769 550318); and at
Hartland Parish Church, Stoke, on Sunday, February 11 at 3pm ( 01237 441426 ).
