The AudiSouthWest.com SouthWest Endurance Rally starts this Friday 9th March and continues until the 11th March 2007 and is the first round of the Torqbar Endurance Road Rally Championship 2007. The rally starts at the Newton Abbot Racecourse at 12pm on Friday and ends in Plymouth on Sunday after 450 miles of rallying. There is free admission at Newton Abbot Racecourse.

The cars competing are all under 1400cc and are normally fairly old Peugeots, Vauxhall Nova’s and Rovers which have been modified with safety equipment such as roll bars. Up to 80 competitors are expected for what should be a good weekend of rallying.
