Wellie walk at Decoy Country Park
April 10, 2007, 10:18 am
On the 12th April, rangers from Decoy Country Park in Newton Abbot are going to be leading a 1 mile walk to the wettest and boggiest parts of Decoy Country Park. The walk is expected to take about two hours and starts at 2pm from the ranger’s office. Families are encouraged to wear wellies or wet feet will be the result! Anyone is welcome to attend but pushchairs and wheelchairs may find the route difficult and the rangers are also asking people to leave their dogs at home.
The park also makes for a lovely day out; there are woodland trails, sports pitch, children’s play area and a large lake.
The costs are: Adults - £3 and children - £1.50
