Salsa club is hot news

A new home for the Exmouth Salsa Club has seen more than 100 people pack Olivants at the quayside for weekly Tuesday night fitness and flair dance workouts.
A range of classes involved a salsa-based aerobics session preceded by a beginners’ class and technical help for improvers. With expert tuition by Angus and Christina, from Abanico Salsa, supported by Sonja Heigl, of the Exmouth club, the new venue will help the club grow.
Sonja said: “We had an amazing night last week, with so many keen and enthusiastic new members. We were delighted so many people were able to fit on the dance floor and give it so much energy.
“There was excellent tapas, and many thanks to Richard Price-Hughes and the staff at Olivants for coping so well with the numbers.”
Classes continue throughout the summer, with beginners welcome every week. For more information call Sonja on 07926 701220.
