Fashion Event Set To Take Over Town - September 25, 2007, 9:58 am

THERE is just a couple of days left to buy tickets for a charity fashion fundraiser set to take over Exmouth.

World Devon Glamour and Fashion 2007, at the Fahrenheit night club on Thursday, September 27, and Friday, September 28, will raise money for CLIC cancer charity and the town festival fund.

Top models, designers and photographers have been drafted in for the event - the brainchild of local photographer Giuseppe Jo.

The exhibition, featuring cat walk shows, dress auctions, and live music, is a chance for people to explore the world of modelling, pick up tips, and have their own photo shoot - included in the ticket price.

Giuseppe Jo hopes the fundraiser will become an annual event and is in talks about organising an event in New York.

Said Giuseppe Jo: “It’s really important we raise as much as we can.

“We want people of all shapes and ages to come to the event and have a shoot with us.”

Tickets are available at the CLIC charity shop, Franklins Bar, The Famous Ship and Uno Café.
