On Wednesday, August 12, Exeter Phoenix in association with ANIMAL surf-wear are launching the 2009 ‘Big Screen in the Park’ Exeter’s very own annual large screen open air summer cinema extravaganza in Northernhay Gardens.

Locally-based actor and director Alec Fellows-Bennett brings a charming open-air production of Oscar Wilde’s well-loved classic, The Importance of Being Earnest, to Sidmouth this summer.

Set beside the River Otter in one of Devon’s most beautiful valleys, Otterton Mill is an altogether different kind of experience. A centuries-old, working watermill, a famous bakery and shop, a fabulous restaurant, serving food to die for, and a gallery selling work from a selection of the best artists from Devon, Dorset and Somerset. AN open-air performance of Shakespeare’s ‘lost’ play Cardenio, will be performed at Otterton Mill in celebration of Midsummer on Saturday, June 20, by The Alternative Cambridge Theatre Company.
