EXETER will be swept up in true festival spirit from Friday with the start of the city’s 16-day annual summer extravaganza.

Irish jigs and expressing deep emotions SiDMouTh Amateur Dramatic Society’s summer production of Brian Friel’s award winning play Dancing at Lughnasa, is at the Manor Pavilion Theatre, Sidmouth later this month. Set in the 1930s, the play incorporates the wild irish jigs and the romantic dance music of the era, through which the five sisters express their deepest emotions. It runs from June 15 to 19.
