The next in a series of eight archive films being produced by the project is going to be about Ilfracombe, which is playing a special part in the Movie Bus ventures. Emma Giffard is the project co-ordinator. She said:

Irish jigs and expressing deep emotions SiDMouTh Amateur Dramatic Society’s summer production of Brian Friel’s award winning play Dancing at Lughnasa, is at the Manor Pavilion Theatre, Sidmouth later this month. Set in the 1930s, the play incorporates the wild irish jigs and the romantic dance music of the era, through which the five sisters express their deepest emotions. It runs from June 15 to 19.
